Document Checklist

When applying for financing, in most cases you will need to provide the following documentation.

  • Agreement of Sale: Fully executed by all parties
  • Photo ID including driver's license or passport, Social Security Number, D.O.B, and complete address for all borrowers
  • Employer's names and complete addresses. If less than 2 years, include previous employer(s)
  • Most recent 30 days of pay stubs, which includes year-to-date information, bonus and/or overtime (if applicable)
  • W-2 forms and signed tax returns with all schedules for most recent two years
  • If self-employed: Recent two years signed tax returns and W-2's (partnership/ corporate returns, if applicable)
  • Retired: An award letter for pension and letter from social security showing monthly amount and supporting bank statement showing direct deposit
  • Asset Verification: Recent statement (all pages) of bank, investment and/or retirement accounts for most recent month/quarter verifying down payment and reserves
