Robert (Bob) McLaughlin NMLS #537508
CEO/President
Bob is a 20+ year veteran of the residential mortgage industry, working in both the broker and banking sectors. He has a considerable background which includes sales, operations, secondary, marketing, compliance, managing, and directing, while maintaining a reputation for integrity and excellence.
Prior to creating Professional Mortgage Advisors, Bob was Sr. Vice President and Director of Mortgage for The Bryn Mawr Trust Company where he was responsible for compliantly overseeing the residential mortgage division. This opportunity allowed Bob to possess significant knowledge of the surrounding market and create a solid network of relationships in the industry.
Before accepting the position at Bryn Mawr Trust, Bob was CEO of American Family Mortgage where he was an involved “hands on” owner, with substantial experience managing and ethically leading the day-to-day operations of the company.
Bob has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Lock Haven University. Bob, his wife, and four children live in suburban Philadelphia.

Tom has 30+ years of experience in the residential mortgage industry, working in both the broker and banking sectors. He has sales, operations, secondary marketing and
managing experience. He has extensive knowledge in finding the right product for a customer to make their short- and long-term goals a reality. He works hard to give every client individual attention as everyone has a unique situation.
Prior to PMA, Tom was a Vice-President of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company where he originated nearly a half billion dollars of residential mortgage loans in his tenure.
Tom was also formerly President of American Family Mortgage where he was an involved with all facets of the business including secondary marketing, managing sales and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Tom has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Drexel University and lives with his family in Media, PA.
Gabriel (Gabe) Perez
Vice President/Business Development
Gabe has been in the mortgage industry for the past 8+ years. With some varied experience as a realty assistant and a project accountant, he brings a problem solving prospective to the team.
Prior to joining Professional Mortgage Advisors, Gabe was the Assistant Vice President/Sales Coordinator for The Bryn Mawr Trust Company Mortgage Division where he assisted the sales team in day to day operations as the middleman between customers, realtors and loan officers. He keeps up with changing regulations to better assist clients as to what road they should travel.
Gabe’s first experience in the mortgage industry came as a Realty Assistant for Berkshire Hathaway after which he worked as an Insurance Assistant at Bryn Mawr Trust.
Gabe has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Cultural Studies from Villanova University. Gabe and his family reside in the Delaware county area of PA.

Vice President/Regional Sales Manager
Anne brings over 25 years of experience as a loan officer- both in the banking and the broker sectors. Prior to becoming a loan officer Anne was a Sales Training Officer and then a Training Director for two area banks. It is her training experience and her belief in the value of home ownership that is one reason why Anne has conducted countless First Time Homeowner seminars. She is dedicated to and takes responsibility for guiding potential first time homebuyers to achieving their dream of home ownership
Having spent all her summers at the New Jersey shore, Anne brings her love of the shore to her mortgage clients who are purchasing a second home or an investment property. Anne has lived in, invested in and utilized construction to permanent loans both personally and professionally.
Whether it is a conventional,jumbo,government or construction to permanent loan, Anne brings her extensive experience to every purchase and refinance transaction and is committed to providing exceptional service to her clients.
Anne earned her BA degree from Penn State and is a proud Penn Stater! She lives in Philadelphia but raised her children in Delaware County and the NJ shore.

Senior Mortgage Loan Officer
John has over 30 years of commercial and residential mortgage lending experience. John’s career has been working for mostly community sized banks serving the Philadelphia suburbs, with the paramount objective of helping his clients achieve their financial goals. This is best accomplished by listening and understanding the client’s objectives, and then offering the most appropriate, competitive and effective lending solution. This is done through a variety of competitive products, while delivering hands-on and friendly customer service throughout the process.
As a broker working for PMA, John’s clients will benefit even more because of the access to a variety of lenders and competitive mortgage options. John is experienced with the 1st time homebuyer, government loans, conventional loans, and jumbo loans for purchase, refi and investment properties.
John graduated from Villanova University, and earned his MBA from Drexel University. John lives in the Kennett - Chadds Ford area with his wife and three children. John is very involved with the local community, including several Board positions for the local Little League for over 12 years.
Maria Cranston
Senior Processor
Maria has over 30 years of combined experience between Mortgage Lending, Processing and as a licensed realtor. Prior to joining PMA, Maria was a senior Mortgage processor with Meridian Bank and Bryn Mawr Trust.
Maria executes actions to ensure a timely closing process and maintains high level of customer service being proactive in communication with customers and underwriters. Due to her history as a realtor and loan officer, Maria has extensive knowledge of the guidelines for various financing options.
Even as the industry around her changes, she prides herself on fast turnaround times and impeccable attention to detail even as she evolves to change with the industry.
